Gene was very helpful and very professional. He always kept us informed as to the market movement and any potential buyers. He provided good advice when we finally received a reasonable offer. I would certainally recommend him to others.

Being long-term city dwellers, this purchase was our first foray into rural property. Gene was always available for our multiple inspections, and to answer our many questions, and provided just the right level of input to our decision-making process. We are delighted with the outcome.

We put our rural/lifestyle property in the Southern Highlands up for sale last year at a time when the general market was starting deflate, and the demand for properties with our medium land size was falling at a faster rate than the rest of the market. Gene Fairbanks, from Ray White, Bowral, worked tirelessly over six months to keep our property in the advertising mainstream and use his experience to attract and recognise those potential buyers who were particularly suited to the features our property had to offer. It is not always the case that every buyer will see your property as the glittering prize they are after, and often it takes the real estate acumen and insight of someone like Gene Fairbanks to bring differing and disparate points of view together. It was a time of general disappointment for some vendors who failed to acquire the price they'd set their sights on, but we were very happy with the price we got and very grateful to Gene and his team for their indefatigable efforts to meet our requirements. Gene and Ray White, Bowral are highly recommended.

After a shaky start Gene took over the sale of my property and brought in an offer with his good negotiating skills to a successful conclusion.

Gene gave us the opportunity to sell our first and small home in time record so we could buy a new bigger one at the same time! Professionalism, knowledge, character, positivity, availability and charisma definitely are making Gene The Agent everybody can trust especially when you realize that he cares and that he is a friend too. I engaged Gene and his staff as my agent first to rent my home out while travelling and then to sell it upon my return. They were friendly, helpful, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and without stress. I felt completely at ease putting my home in their capable hands. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Gene was approachable and impressed from the first meeting with his attitude and knowledge of the local area. He exceeded expectations and had the property sold in a matter of weeks. Would definitely recommend his services to other vendors looking to sell or purchase in the Southern Highlands.
