There are two classes of salespeople we all have experience of and they are for cars and houses. The horror stories far outnumber the positive ones with most people able to relate several examples. It is important therefore to take the time to publicly acknowledge great professional service and I would like to do that today for Rob and Sally Horne from Ray White. Ray White have seemingly been with us forever and you don't stay in their position by providing poor service. They are of course as good as the people who work for them. We were referred to them by friends who had just gone through a similar experience of downsizing using Rob snd Sally to sell their house. Being baby boomers we approached our downsizing with great trepidation. We had years of accumulated stuff and all sorts of ideas on how best to sell our house. At the initial meeting Rob and Sally patiently listened and gently corrected our mis assumptions and made suggestions. It became very clear they knew what to do and how to make things go smoothly for us. They guided us through every step with clear and thoughtful direction and importantly did everything they said they would without fail. They steered us through the inevitable stormy seas and tricky bits effortlessly. They are genuine relatable people who you feel are working for you not just saying the words. We also purchased our smaller property not through them but with other agents and went to auction but they gave us step by step advice on how to proceed in that little tricky arena. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to sell. They are a credit to themselves, Ray White and the whole industry and bring the word service into sharp focus. We arent doing this because they achieved some miraculous sales figure - we did very well in a weakening market but the best result was gained because they are excellent at what they do. My experience of Chevonne was from a buyer’s perspective. Initially I was viewing properties solely from online communication, but as soon as Chevonne realised I was serious in my intentions to purchase a property she would ‘keep me in the loop’. It did not take long before Chevonne became aware of which properties ticked most, if not all my lists of what was essential in a property. Finally there was the property I purchased and Chevonne was in constant communication between me and the sellers, but never aggressive and pushy, but rather she listened to any concerns and reminded me the positives outweighed any concerns. I wish I had Chevonne as my agent when I sold my property. I highly recommend her.
