I cannot recommend Chelsie Saunders highly enough. From the beginning of our rental application process, she was incredibly professional, patient, responsive and genuinely caring. I probably bombarded Chelise with more questions and follow-ups than most applicants, particularly while anxiously waiting to hear whether our application had been successful. She was always patient and kind, responded promptly, and never made me feel that I was being a nuisance. Anyone who has been searching for a rental property knows how stressful the waiting process can be. Unfortunately, it is quite common to receive very little communication once an application has been submitted, which only adds to that stress. Chelsie was completely different. If she said she would follow something up with the landlord, she did exactly that and came back to me, often within just a few hours. What impressed me most was that she understood there are real people and emotions behind a rental application. To be honest, I was not happy with the campaign. The initial pricing was too high (which was recommended by the agent for the previous renter), and when it came to renting it out again, there were very few interested parties because of the inflated price. A tactic to secure more commission for them meant that the property was vacant for 5 weeks, costing my previous tenant unnecessary rent, and it came to the wire for me losing out on rent too. The campaign also didn't initially mention the FHS zone, which was picked up by me. It's something that goes without saying in the FHS zone; it should always be mentioned. The chosen initial image was also not appealing, so I addressed this too. Overall I was very close to leaving this agent and finding a new one if the property was not rented this week, so this shows my disappointment. The people I dealt with were always lovely, but I just don't feel they did their job working for me well at all.
