Unfortunately our experience of buying our first home was certainly less exciting than I had hoped for. The process was messy and it felt like everything was just too hard. We were told they don't use under contract stickers to keep the interest flowing in case finance wasn't approved, however, other Roberts & Green properties in the area all had under contract stickers on their boards. When the time had come for the sold sticker, we were told the vendor collected it to put on, which we respected. Nearly a week later the sticker never went on so I asked if we could collect it to put it on ourselves in which she told us it wasn't policy to allow us to get one, after continuously asking we finally got the sticker. The communication dropped off and I then received ill-mannered and non professional text messages, not to mention not hearing a word from Lisa on settlement day, no congratulations or anything. There were alot of inconsistencies in things we were told making it hard to be able to trust this company. I am certainly not one to want to leave negativity but this experience was very unsettling and stressful for us during a period that should be exciting and fun. I would never buy again or sell with Roberts & Green and I certainly wouldn't recommend to family or friends sadly enough. An experience we will remember not for positive reasons.

Lisa worked to accommodate this and within 48 hours we had secured a purchase.
