The service was very helpful and good all throughout from application process, inspection and finalising the house for renting. We are tenants who also own residential property in the region. We have had varying experiences with real estate agencies as tenants ranging from superb to diabolical. There are real estate agencies out there whose drive to minimise outgoings and bolster earnings appears to be to the detriment of both their staff, their landlord/s and tenant/s. Some probably promise the world but due to unrealistic workloads and fear-based cultures staff become hardened as they keep their heads low and engage less. You see an unwillingness or inability to take initiative or responsibility, and the inevitable little problems don’t get addressed. Communication back to the landlord in these sorts of agencies is typically poor to negligible, based on what a couple of our landlords have later shared. One landlord, when we caught up with them, advised they had never been told what had been happening at their property, so quickly shifted agency. Other Real Estate Firms, happily, have excellent staff who maintain good and timely communications, treat both their landlords and tenants with courtesy, are warm and approachable, efficient, ooze common sense, say it as it is, keep it simple, don’t tolerate nonsense from either party and — most importantly — are able to be alert to issues that may be arising. We like renting properties through those agencies! Good for both the landlord/s and the tenant/s, and these agencies earn every dollar of their commissions! Whilst we are new to the care of Ray White Highton, from the professionalism extended to us thus far, the transparency, the pertinent information shared and courtesy we have seen the staff extend to both us and their colleagues, this agency is definitely one we would be considering to mange a property for us. Generally, I have had good experiences with the Ray White agencies and their staff, both as a client, and as fellow volunteers in the community. I hope this helps:-)
