We were in a rental recently, as predicted (by me) they nitpicked the property on departure in order to hold back the bond - for a property with existing issues (malfunctions, damage) to a person with an ABI - in other words, on a disability pension. Also, when he applied for another property (unsuitable, were advised promptly) and PAID the month’s rent up front - no hurry to give it back six weeks later. Two thousand dollars - six weeks later. And the potential tenant is allowed twenty four hours to pay / confirm? Assiduously avoid. Incidentally, their contact worker / repairman said he quit working for them because of delays in payment for invoices. And do NOT expect a call back from the office - straight to voicemail.

While the personal at Ray White were personable and professional, the online application to rent insists on a large amount of personal information and uses overseas operators to check references. This implies that my very personal information is available online to these operators and I have no control of who has access to it. This approach should be reviewed.
