Please think twice before choosing Mark
I spent weeks trying to find the best agent to sell my house, turns out I didn't choose the best one....
1. House Contract- Mark ticked the box for him to receive his commission before settlement. Luckily this was picked up and changed before signing.
2. Mark tried to convince for me to end my tenants lease early, so the house was vacant. Probably so he didn't have to keep filling out the Form to enter the property each time. Even though my tenants kept the house immaculent and were very cooperative.
3. Mark tried to convince me to accept a buyers really low offer, as this is what the bank valued the house at. Mark was not committed to achieving market value nor a premium price. It seemed he was working for the buyer's best interest and trying to get his commission as quickly as possible.
4. Mark tried to convince me to pay for another valuation out of my own pocket. Knowing it would have been a pointless exercise costing me money and serving no benefit to me. Mark said if I decline the buyer's offer and the contract falls over and the house goes back on the market, he said we are going to face the same situation again, which wasn't true at all.
Feedback was provided to Ray White Director during the selling of the house, the director listened to my feedback and said he would call back. There was no follow up call.
Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience, so please be careful if choosing them to sell your house.
