This is the third time Matt has helped us sell a property, and his commitment to the task is second to none. Nothing is too difficult. He keeps you informed every step of the way, after every open house, etc. His support staff are wonderful, too, especially Anne. This particular time was especially difficult for me as my husband was in palliative care, and Matt just took away all the stress for me. We chose Adam McKay as our marketing agent as he stood out from representatives from other agencies we spoke with when initially decided to downsize our large Turramurra home. It was very noticeable he had considerable knowledge of the North Shore property market which was important to us as we had made the decision to sell at short notice. The day following signing the agreement he commenced arranging inspections by clients and fitting these visits into our schedule at all times. Adam would always update us after all inspections and these proved to be very worthwhile and gave us further insight into the potential price we could eventually expect. There were occasions when an unsuccessful attempted was made to contact him but a return phone call would always be received shortly afterwards. As we were selling at a time of the year, December /January when the real estate market is traditionally quite it was a surprise to us at the volume of worthwhile inspections he arranged confirming his popularity and achievement he generates amongst clients. If there was ever a professional real estate agent Adam McKay is that person with the ability to converse with people from all backgrounds and find and seal an agreement between both parties. We certainly knew from the beginning to the exchange of the contract we had chosen the best Agent to handle the sale of our home. Adam and his team are very personable and easy to talk to. Communication was OK but at times patchy, we had our updates by email (who came to opens, prospective buyers etc) for the first couple of weeks then sporadically after that. Communication about opens finishing and calls to update were again a bit hit and miss. Photos and video were great and did show the house to max advantage. Additional help like cleaning and staging was, in the end, useless. What’s the point in bringing a styling company through to quote when there is no chance they can meet the deadline for the photos and first open?!! The cleaning quote was laughable and couldn’t be done until after the first open. Ultimately all real estate agents are going to say almost anything to get the sale and Adam and his team are no different, they’re not going to lie but you’ll get “professional opinions” that beggar belief. For example “if you don’t sell you’re not likely to see any significant increase in value for 5 years”
