About Barry

The name Barry Hudson is synonymous with real estate in the Hornsby area. Commencing his real estate career in 1969, Barry quickly found his way to working on development sites and was integral in putting together what was to become the Northgate Shopping Centre (The Hornsby Shopping centre prior to the current day Westfield) by negotiating the purchase of 54 of the total 56 properties needed to create the centre. Also, during the 70’s, and into the 80’s and 90’s Barry sold numerous home unit sites to developers. In fact it would be hard (if not impossible) to find any other agent that has sold more, or knows more about Hornsby units than Barry does. During the past 40 odd year career Barry has received many awards for being an elite sales person for the Ray White Network, and in 2001 was awarded as the No. 1 Top International Salesperson, this was followed up in 2002 when he won the No. 1 salesperson in NSW and since then has received various other accolades and awards up to current year (2009) when he was recognised as the No. 3 agent in the Northern Districts. After such a long and illustrious career anyone who knows Barry knows that he gets just as excited today when he gets the opportunity to help buyers and sellers achieve their real estate dreams as he did when he began. Barry says “I think in must be in my DNA”. Testament to Barry’s achievements and how he is regarded within the local community, much of his business today is either a 3rd or 4th sale of a past happy client, or a referral from past clients or local business people – you can’t ask for more than that.

Excellent Results Despite Less Than Ideal Conditions

Despite a quieter market and rising interest rates, Eddie did an excellent job selling our apartment, which by all measures, was quite ordinary. He supported us through the whole process, recommending renovations which would add value to the sale, linking us with reliable tradesman, efficiently running the marketing campaign and was an excellent communicator at every step of the process. We particularly appreciated Eddie's genuineness and honesty and would 100% work with him again!

I could not recommend Claudia more highly!

Claudia's knowledge of the area and the market was excellent.. Her communication was exceptional. Nothing was ever too much trouble. She replied to any questions quickly, competently & comprehensively. Claudia was there to assist us every step of the way right from signing up with her through to after the sale. She put us in contact with trades who could help us make our home the best it could be. She was friendly and really cared about every member of our family. Claudia in our opinion went above and beyond. Now in our search for our new home I have not come across an agent as open, helpful, caring and friendly, but hoping we will.
