Jan and I would like to offer our sincere thanks for your dedicated, professional and ultimately very successful work on our property on Anchorage Islands. We are not without experience of buying and selling, so we have quite a few to compare you with when we comment on the service we received - as I have often said to you this is sale No 14. I also have to add that we have also been able to watch your successful efforts in this area over a considerable period.
There are a lot of components that make up a very good salesperson, especially in a somewhat different environment like this Island. First and foremost is the way that you identify a client's needs and expectations and mould them into achievable outcomes. Full marks to you on this, your incremental approach to marketing efforts was much appreciated and clearly effective and efficient. Then we have negotiation and I think I could give you full marks there too. You worked a number of prospects, skilfully identifying the indicators of their 'viability' and did so in ways that offended no one. Finally, the closure. Like everyone else we would have liked a few grand more, but are both completely satisfied that in the limited window of time we gave you, the changing market conditions and the somewhat different nature of this property, you got blood out of a stone.
