We found that we were so impressed by their down to earth, honest and straight forward approach that we would like to use them for the sale of our home as well. Our circumstances changed and we needed a team that we could trust- rely on to sell our home quickly and efficiently. Both Simon and Deb were always just a phone call away and were happy to meet us in person if needed. Open homes were run smoothly. We hardly new they had been except for a lovely fresh smell and a card on the bench. Selling in COVID times were tricky but the team took it all in their stride. Easing any anxieties we may have had. After saving hard for our deposit and doing our homework with a range of lenders, we ‘hit the market’ this year, looking for an established house in the Redlands. We got to meet a range of characters, some professional and some not so! During all this, I had a positive interaction with Simon, from The Simon Salm Team at Remax Alex Hills. He seemed like a really decent guy, was able to understand our needs, and we made a good connection straight away. And then sure enough, within a few days I received a call from Glen from The Simon Salm Team regarding a house that had just been listed that very morning! We were up in Brisbane at that moment helping my cousin move house, but made it down by lunch time, had the inspection, went to a coffee shop with my partner for ‘the talk’, and signed the contract that afternoon! We knew what we wanted, sure, but Glen is very capable and professional and made buying our house the enjoyable experience that it should be. They have my recommendation – just give them a call! From my first communication with Deb I knew that if I was ever to buy or sell I would want it to be with Deb McDonald, Simon Salm and Team as they were all incredibly friendly, responsive, and genuine. At no time did I feel like I was being pushed into buying, never given the 'you best act quick' line, and felt that Deb had the best interest of both the vendor AND myself in mind during the process. Communication was easy, and any questions I had for the vendor Deb quickly relayed and had replies back incredibly quickly. I am very grateful to Deb, Simon and Team as I know live in my dream home and I could not recommend them enough.
