I have been renting through Remax for almost 2 years. I recently had to move due to the new owner wanting to subdivide. It was a very stressful time for me especially with the rent crisis, I was at risk of becoming homeless. But the staff at Remax were fantastic and with their help I was able to secure a lease on a new rental property. I can’t express my gratitude enough. Throughout my tenancy at the previous house they were always very supportive and prompt with liaising between tenant and landlord.

I am writing this review based on my experience of having REMAX Extreme manage two of my rental properties for over 1.5 years. I strongly caution landlords against using REMAX Extreme's property management services Initially, their Business Development Manager appeared to be attentive and professional. However, once my properties were under management, they were handed off to a junior property manager. This resulted in poor communication, repeated poor decision-making, and lack of initiative that has costed me both time and money Landlords should also be cautious of the contract terms. REMAX Extreme locks you into a two-year contract with excessive exit fees for early termination, making it financially unviable to leave even though the service quality does not meet expectations For any property owners considering their options, I highly recommend exploring other agencies. As of this review, both of my properties are still with REMAX due to their management's demands for excessive "exit fees," making it economically unfeasible for me to transition to another property management agency
