After saving hard for our deposit and doing our homework with a range of lenders, we ‘hit the market’ this year, looking for an established house in the Redlands. We got to meet a range of characters, some professional and some not so! During all this, I had a positive interaction with Simon, from The Simon Salm Team at Remax Alex Hills. He seemed like a really decent guy, was able to understand our needs, and we made a good connection straight away. And then sure enough, within a few days I received a call from Glen from The Simon Salm Team regarding a house that had just been listed that very morning! We were up in Brisbane at that moment helping my cousin move house, but made it down by lunch time, had the inspection, went to a coffee shop with my partner for ‘the talk’, and signed the contract that afternoon! We knew what we wanted, sure, but Glen is very capable and professional and made buying our house the enjoyable experience that it should be. They have my recommendation – just give them a call! From my first communication with Deb I knew that if I was ever to buy or sell I would want it to be with Deb McDonald, Simon Salm and Team as they were all incredibly friendly, responsive, and genuine. At no time did I feel like I was being pushed into buying, never given the 'you best act quick' line, and felt that Deb had the best interest of both the vendor AND myself in mind during the process. Communication was easy, and any questions I had for the vendor Deb quickly relayed and had replies back incredibly quickly. I am very grateful to Deb, Simon and Team as I know live in my dream home and I could not recommend them enough.
