I first met Marco 2 years ago when he sold an apartment for my sister and Rich & Oliva also looked after a management for my brother, the initial contact with Marco was very positive as he listened and gave his very honest opinion. He never over promised and was very realistic with the pricing. The marketing and the video of the home was exception as well as the attention to detail. We were kept fully up to date whether it was positive or negative. Auction day was very positive and the sale well exceeded our reserve which was very pleasing. When our brother passed away, my sister and I, as executers to his estate, were faced with the daunting task of selling his home which had been in our family for over 90 years. By chance we attended an Auction handled by Rich and Oliva. We had no experience with auctions but were impressed with the professional way the auction proceeded. We spoke to one of the Agency representatives at the end of the auction and we were contacted soon after by Matthew Nolan. Matthew arranged to meet with us at the house and was so helpful giving us a plan of action to move forward to prepare the house for market. At all times Matthew was helpful and positive. No matter what worries we had he always had positive, knowledgeable answers. Once the marketing began, we received a phone call after each Open House on attendance and comments about the property. There was also a weekly written report on the interest shown in the property from both open house and private inspections. We were happy with the result of the auction receiving above the reserve price. We were very pleased with the way Matthew handled the entire four week campaign as well as the period of preparation of the property. We have known Marco and the Rich and Oliva team for decades, they’ve always had a very good reputation in the area, clients were happy and the prices were always strong. Having to sell my mother‘s property was an emotional decision and an emotional time, but he made the decision very easy for us. He had the property prepared with painting, a large amount of gardening work, skip bins organised. They turned the property into an inviting home you could see today. Come auction day they had a large sales team available to help all the buyers and assist with their bidding and they achieved the figure well beyond what we were happy with. I couldn’t be happier with the process and the attention to detail, the constant feedback and most importantly the sale price.
