At the end of last year we engaged the services of what we deemed to be a leading Real Estate Agent in Bankstown to sell our house. The service i reviewed when selling the property was outstanding , constant updates with the public interest , calls regarding the property, all the inspections the amount of people that attended the inspections , offers submitted , constant communicating something I have not experienced from a realestate agent previously . Richard was there from the beginning, during and the end of the process of the sale of the property .The poorest sold before auction ..Richards professional approach was outstanding and without hesitations would only recommend Richard and his services to any person that is looking for the best service and dealings when it comes to any realestate needs. We found Matthew to to very professional. He has excellent work ethic and is very trustworthy and reliable. In October 2015 we decided to sell our family home. For years there was an Estate agent from a different company who called in from time to time so we promised that we would employ them to sell our house. This was our first mistake. This agent promised the world and delivered nothing. Our opinion of estate agents was rock bottom and then along came Matthew from Richard Matthews Real Estate Agent. Matthew told us that he would try to change our opinion of estate agents. We thought that this would be impossible We discussed the value of our house with Matthew and we both agreed on a sale price. We decided not to go to auction after our previous traumatic experience. The house was on the market for approximately 1 week in January 2016 when Matthew telephoned to inform us that he had a very interested buyer and a price was reached that the purchaser and ourselves were very happy with. We sold our home through Matthew Everingham in February 2015 via auction, and achieved $115,000 over our target. Financial satisfaction aside, we were very happy with his professionalism. He originally managed our home as a rental property. After interviewing other agents, we went with Matthew because we wanted to support a local business, not a chain, and thought he would put in the extra effort, which he did. He managed the property for almost 3 years before we decided to sell. Matthew has a very good understanding of the local market. He is very authentic in his approach, and is realistic regarding price. He treated us as a priority, not as just another commission. Throughout the entire process, he provided regular updates, almost daily via phone, which we appreciated. As we live interstate, we also appreciated the good set of contacts he has – stylists, cleaners, garden maintenance, etc. Highly recommend.
