After some testing times with a buyer who was ....emmm, let's just say from my point of view.... very indecisive, and cost us valuable time and legal wrangling he battled on against a difficult timeline and got the sale / price I needed. I trusted John with the sale of our parents' home; having spoken to some other agents first, what I liked about John was that I found him honest and approachable, friendly and well-motivated. There was no 'spin' and I trusted him; he understood the emotional impact of selling the house after its being our home for such a long time. He was very communicative with regular updates from him via email, text and personal calls, as well as weekly detailed reports from his agency. As this was a deceased estate, John was able to speak on behalf of the vendors in a sensitive and tactful manner. John was able to be diplomatic in his approach, from a buyers perspective, as he worked both for his vendors dealing with a sensitive emotional sale of a deceased estate but also enabled us as buyers to reach our property goals. We chose John to sell our house because he was the only agent who made me feel he was a professional from the moment we met him. He arrived prepared with lots of information on the property market in the area for similar properties to ours, gave a realistic valuation of the house based on what had been happening with the market and not just some figure he pulled out of thin air like some other agents seemed to.
