Let me commence this review by disclosing that Darren Mackay of Santa Cruz Realty is my son. I will therefore stick to facts to avoid perceptions of bias. We listed our house in Clear Island Waters for sale with Darren and within a couple of days we had it advertised on Internet sites with professional photography and a floor plan. Darren held open homes on weekends and after each open home gave us a detailed report on the number of viewers and all of their feedback. He also made follow up calls to those viewers over the next few days and gave us further feedback. Negotiations between ourselves and potential buyers were carried out in a professional manner. Our house was sold within three weeks and we achieved the price we had set in our minds when we decided to sell.

Just a short note to thank you for the professional and efficient manner in which you dealt with the sale of my apartments in Varsity Lakes. Darren was third agent that listed my property and was the only successful agent in negotiating the sale. Not only that Darren managed to sell my apartment but achieved great price, which was right at the top of the current market value. I was extremely pleased with the advice you gave me prior to listing the property with Santa Cruz Realty and I feel sure that it contributed significantly in the presentation of the property. Despite your assurances I imagined that in the current poor market at the Gold Coast I would have the apartment on the market for a few months at least. I even expected another failed attempt at selling the apartment. It was a weight off my mind to be told by Darren that he had a potential buyer only a fortnight after listing. Clearly your advice about price and presentation were spot on and I feel sure that in conjunction with your efforts this is why the apartment sold so quickly. Even after the contracts had been signed etc. Darren was still helpful and kept me up to date with the progress of the sale.
