On receiving the keys to my investment unit, Melinda arranged photos and a detailed Quote for extensive renovations at a very fair price, which I accepted immediately with minor additions. That was a Thursday afternoon. to my surprise, I received correspondence on the following Thursday morning stating that renovations were complete, staging going in that morning, professional photography that evening, listing when photos received on the Friday morning and Open Home Saturday morning. The unit sold the following Saturday at a fair, but good price. If Melinda was running in a Melbourne Cup, she would win by a furlong. All my concerns regarding the renovation evaporated when Melinda received the keys. Melinda and her teams' professionalism, efficiency, communication and expediency are second to none. I highly recommend Melinda Seeto to everyone. She removes the stress in the sale process. Just listen to her, her logic, her understanding of both the sellers and buyers enables her to do the very best for each individual who engages her. I knew you were good Melinda, but this experience just blew my socks off.

I have regretted choosing Melinda to sell my apartment. For all vendors who reading my review and considering to choose her, please check her license at https://verify.licence.nsw.gov.au/details/Property%20-%20Corporation/1-1XZ3STK. She had compliance issue in the past. Based on my dealing with her, I found she is very unprofessional and her business practice is questionable and not trustworthy. Firstly, before signing the agency agreement with her, she emailed me a selling proposal that set out commission structures and three marketing packages being Premium, Sliver and Bronze. I asked her to amend the fee structure and also expressed that I would like to go with the Sliver package as I thought the Premium was too expensive for a one-bedroom. When we met to discuss the selling process I tried to ask her if she could reduce Silver package fee by a couple of hundred dollars. She declined but emphasized that Realestate's audience maximizer feature pushing ad to websites buyers are browsing. I accepted it and did not ask about Domain’s feature as I thought it would be just a standard ad. Not one time did Melinda ask if I was happy or would like to go with the Premium package. After the property was sold, I found that she actually opted me in the most expensive package. It’s my fault not examine the agreement properly because I thought she was trustworthy based on others reviews. Why bother to have 3 different marketing packages if you don’t let vendor choose one? Secondly, in our meeting, she advised that I should do some renovations to improve the apartment. I followed her advice with the expectation of getting higher price. However, after second opening, she started talking negatively, told me that no one was interested in the apartment, also sent me pictures that a two-bedroom in the same block was advertising just 69K more than my asking price. I was so upset that I asked to terminate the agreement. such unprofessional and bad attitude!

I knew Melinda to be the best agent for the area before engaging her services. I did find some parts of the process and suggestions provided (after we had discussed selling and signed the agency agreement) as to what needed to be completed to achieve the best price quite stressful and forceful.....BUT......the proof is in the result. A block record as soon as the property was put on the market!
