The property was under offer at a price within my expectations within 1 week from being on the market. The initial advertised home open on the weekend had a reasonable number of groups through - a number of further groups were shown thru the following week, with the property under offer that week. Have known Shane for a number of years, so there was no second thoughts about using him as my agent when it came time to sell my property. He allowed me to pick his brain beforehand, and offered suggestions as to what could be beneficial to the property to help with sale. Nothing was too much of a problem for him. His knowledge of the local area and sales was exceptional. He outlined exactly what the plan was for the sale, kept me updated through the entire process, and made sure everything ran as smoothly as possible, while I was away at work. His work ensured I was rewarded with a price well above my expectations, while I honestly did nothing except sign papers once agreements had been reached, all for a very reasonable cost to myself. Shane went out of his way to give me as much local knowledge as possible. As I am to renovate he advised me with potential resale strategies. He gave me solid recommendations to local companies from wall shifting to pergolas to gardeners and more. Having only come to Perth four months ago such information is invaluable. He had also a trying task to help the tenant move out. Furthermore the vendor, living overseas, required significant input from Shane as the chosen Settlement Agent had not been proceeding correctly. Two potential settlement dates passed and Shane, my Conveyancer and I shared some smiles and laughter in relief at the final one. Shane really gave his all on my behalf (for a small property). He also did his utmost for the elderly vendor with whom he had dealt with in the past as former Strata Manager of the units one of which is my purchase. It has been a most pleasant experience working with and being solidly guided by Shane.
