Told us they'd list the property for 580K to 630K, which they did, then three weeks later suggested we drop it to 500-525K due to lack of buyer response. I felt like they hadn't been honest in their first appraisal. Numerous times in telephone conversations with me Elton and Paul would have cross office conversations between themselves to ascertain facts they should have had at hand before talking to me. The property finally sold at $550K, but only after I insisted that I wouldn't take any less for it. The sales contract was hand-written and led to a disagreement over the amount of "Marketing fee" to be charged due to a poorly written amount of (on very close inspection) $1800 which appeared to be $800 due to the 1 being very close to the dollar sign and slightly away from the 800. I expected a lot better, and would not use them again.

Elton is a very knowledgeable communicator who talked through my aims and expectations, and helped established a game plan for selling my rental property. I had a tenant in my property so I was unsure of the rights and responsibilities involved in selling the property. The tenant had been an excellent tenant for me so I also wanted a positive outcome for her if possible. Elton explained the realities of the situation and talked through my priorities, and explained where the possible room for movement would be. He also addressed my concerns around presenting the property and was very diplomatic in dealing with the tenant. Elton's online auction system was super effective in combination with his persuasive negotiating skills over the phone. In the space of 1 week and an open home, Elton sold my property ABOVE what realestate.com would have me believe my property is worth and I could not be happier :) On top of that, the tenant would also be allowed to stay in the property for 6 months, meaning she did not need to stress looking for another place during the Christmas / New Years period. Elton also put me in touch with a professional and competent conveyancer so the whole process was as smooth as could be. Elton and his team did an amazing job, and I am glad I put my trust in him. I will definitely be using Elton's service again, and I would thoroughly endorse Elton to anyone in the Campbelltown/Macarthur region (unless your selling to me of course ;).
