The last 12 months has been a difficult time for home owners to sell their properties as expectations did not meet the reality of the market. Our home was originally marketed for sale in April 2018 just as the market turned downward. We had 3 offers but they either fell over or were declined and we decided to remove our property from the market. Our property had been listed for sale by another agent for nearly six months. During this time, we did not receive any offers close to what we were looking for. This somehow had damaged the reputation of our property. The previous agent had told us that on the current market it was " impossible" to sell even close to the price we needed. As the selling agent on a property we knew and loved, we made contact with Chris within a day of the house being listed. He supported us through the long sale process on our house in the Inner West and kept us up to date constantly with developments with on the site we were keen to buy. His communication and genuine care was outstanding and I never doubted his authenticity in the advice he gave us along the way, or the way he represented the owners. Chris also went over and above to assist the 'senior' owners throughout the process including overseeing their potential purchase. After a marathon 3 months in the tough market conditions, we sold and were able to exchange on our purchase at a price we were comfortable with. Chris and Louise helped us through a myriad of sale complexities (including 3 simulatanous transactions) and after the sold sign went up they stepped it up even more providing the practical advice and support we needed to sort the logistics of settling our young family in this new part of town. I can't recommend Chris (and Louise) highly enough and am looking forward to having a drink with them when we finally arrive!!
