I met Gus because he was the agent selling a block of land I was interested in. Once he knew my situation (I had to sell my home first), we made an appointment to discuss my offer for the block. He arrived fully prepared with so much information and I was immediately comfortable with him. It was an easy decision to choose Gus to sell my home. At all times Gus was patient with me (even when I'd forgotten things we had already discussed), kind and very courteous. At all times I felt like he was doing the very best for me, even to the point where he arranged for a piece of furniture to be repaired after hand santiser had damaged it. Gus provided reports every week as to who and how many people came through home opens and, when the offers started coming in, he was able to get the absolute best price for my house. To cut a long story short: - I was told by this agent that my offer was a waste of time; - Blamed his inappropriate comments on my age; - He alleges that i declined to have a building inspection written into the agreement (this is incorrect) - When discussing final inspection dates, he told me i should be nicer to him - He lost my email address half way through the process - He did not notify me that the sellers extended family would be attending the property while i was completing my final inspection - Overall i found him condescending and would not recommend him to any young people looking to buy their first home.
