As I am new to sellling houses , i feel I don’t have a benchmark to compare . I only ever met Jeremy and did not meet with other estate agents . In saying that I did find Jeremy kind informative and knowledgeable . On the other side I was a recent widow and existing on a pension which didn’t make me feel in control when Jeremy kept suggesting painting of the house etc . I realise that it would have probably been beneficial to selling but I just didn’t have the money to do up the house . I think it probably sold for less than it’s worth but i was so tired and frustrated with everything going on in different parts of my life that I just wanted it done .

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Obi from The Property Collective during my property purchase and could not recommend him (and The Property Collective) enough. I had been in the market and looking at properties for the last couple of years so have had many interactions and dealings with real estate agents and Obi exceeded all expectations. As a first home buyer I was quite new to the whole process but Obi's guidance made the world of difference. From my initial inspection of the property all the way through to settlement, Obi was very responsive to any queries I had but also ensured that their was a line of constant communication. As a buyer, my primary focus naturally revolved around the property itself prior to purchase. However thanks to Obi's personability and attentiveness, the process was expedited as they efficiently provided me with all the necessary information I required, enabling me to make an offer and proceed to the exchange stage faster with their property then others I was interested in. I am disappointed by the service I received from the team at Property Collective. Jeremy himself was pleasant to deal with and on the whole did a good job, but he changed arranged opening times and dates which made things harder for me to organise open home sessions with my tenant. Jeremy was available for me when I needed information but the information seemed fluid rather than concrete. I felt that Jeremy promised above his honest expectations to win my business. Very quickly into the process he began to use the phrase 'market says ..' a lot and I do not believe he did as wide coverage of potential buyers as he indicated he would. What made the whole experience worse was the appalling service from the people in ‘the office’. On three occasions I sent emails in response to some contact from individuals such as Charmain and Alenn and I did not even receive an acknowledgement of my email, let alone a reply. I also called a few times and got a voice recording that was not even personalised to the company. Needless to say, nobody called back.
