In 1985, Peter became the Principal of Theo Poulos Real Estate and continues to carry on the well-earned reputation of the business. Peter has expanded the business and created one of the largest Commercial Departments in the Blue Mountains district, offering services from Lithgow to Springwood/Winmalee. Peter’s reputation for integrity, professionalism and honestly are reflected in the success of the business which has been operating since 1960. Theo Poulos Real Estate is the longest standing Real Estate in the Blue Mountains, which can only be put down to Peter’s incredible work ethic. Well-informed and very supportive

Ed Balfour acted as my real estate agent, and I have the highest praise for both him and Theo Polous. Ed was always available either in person or at the other end of the phone, and if I felt guilty about tagging him too much then there was always assistance to be had from his Katoomba office. Just like John Steed from the original ‘Avengers’ series, Ed was knowledgeable, never fazed, and relentless (he also comes immaculately presented, which enhances his likeness to Steed!). While I am an extremely satisfied vendor, I’m certain that the purchaser is also equally as satisfied with the outcome of the sale, testament to the integrity of Ed and the Theo Polous team.

Ed Balfour is a very professional, good manner and supportive.

Ed tried his best for me and acting between the buyer and tenant. I am very happy with his service, performance and support, at present the property market is not the best as well as the complication around the globe. and many factors. However, Ed Balfour went through the bad storm (worst property market in century) and finally, 'HE NAILED IT".

Highly professional and delighted with the outcome!

A massive thank you to Ed and the team at Theo Poulos. We couldn't be happier with the way they handled the sale of our house from the marketing to the openings. We were more than happy!

We were more than happy with the service provided by Ed, Danielle and the team at Theo Poulos. There were obviously some logistical problems with selling a house that we did not live in, with little knowledge of local tradespeople to carry out the essential work required to put the house on the market. Ed was very helpful in this regard and gave us sound advice in the best way to market the property. We were delighted that the house sold so quickly for a price above our expectations. Danielle was also a great help in the final couple of weeks before settlement while Ed was away. We used your agency when we bought the property in 2006 and had no hesitation in engaging your services again when the time came to sell the house. We would have no hesitation in recommending Theo Poulos to vendors in Katoomba.

Ed's advice was very realistic and honest. He assessed the market situation very realistically and was very professional in his approach. He always represented our interests very well, which was not easy as we were abroad during the sales phase. The result achieved definitely met our expectations.
