You would be surprised how many agents do not bother to do this. Huss is an exceptional auctioneer. He understands how to draw out the first bid from cautious buyers, and how to pace an auction to keep the momentum going with an ebb and flow between bids to allow buyers time to consider their next bid. That is the art and craft of real estate. Consider the outcome in these metrics: Our auction went for 30 minutes. The last ten minutes paid for his commission by a factor of 10+. The sale smashed the suburb record by a 30% margin to the previous record set only 2 months prior. I would recommend Huss to all in the inner west and definitely engage him again in future.

I had the privilege of meeting Huss when we were first looking to buy a house many years ago and I could not believe how different to all other real estate agents he was. He took the time to find out about who we were and what were looking for - and even though we never actually bought a property from him at the time - he worked hard over the years to continue to maintain and nurture that relationship. When it came to finally selling our home in Kingsville, there was no other agent for the job! Huss and his team communicated regularly and clearly throughout and were very patient throughout the negotiation process ensuring we received the best outcome (managing a difference in opinion between my husband and I in the midst!). He gave us honest advice about the state of the market and what we should expect, and even as we went into another lockdown just days after our house went on the market, we still managed to sell it quickly and for an excellent price. I cannot recommend Huss and the Village Real Estate team highly enough. Professional to the core and an absolute pleasure to deal with them all!
