About Syd

Sales Manager, Syd Sherrin comes from the famous Sherrin football family, with affiliations at the Collingwood Football Club. Commencing with W. B. Simpson & Son in 1989, he quickly achieved a following from both vendors and purchasers for the superior level of service he renders. An ability to listen to his clients’ needs, to provide sound professional advice and extraordinary negotiation skills are the hallmarks to Syd’s success. Syd has recently published a book about his family migrating from Ireland in 1848, and traces the path of his forefathers in establishing one of Australia’s most iconic brands the Sherrin football. Syd’s passion for football making has sent him as far as Alice Springs. Over the years, he has held many workshops with the Aboriginal community in a desire to provide a better outcome for Central Australians. When he is not selling real estate (which he does most of the time) he is devoted to his wife and three beautiful daughters, and for relaxing he enjoys sailing on the bay from Williamstown or promoting his recent book.
