I met with around 5 real estate agents and whilst all had their pros and cons I ended up choosing YPA and in particular Mitch based on a series of factors. They were 100% transparent by providing a printed pricelist of exactly what their services cost as well as commission structure. Others would scrawl it on a piece of paper based on my reactions or excluding gst from their pricing. They were not at all pushy with follow-ups and were wholly appreciative that choosing an agent can be a stressful time for a seller. Mitch was just grateful for the opportunity to represent me and said to call him any time with any questions. One thing I found during that campaign is that they were honest with all of the people who inspected the property and whilst the odd 'over embellishment' may get a better price I would say it is also true that the person buying can trust everything that they are told when they place a bid so it works both ways. My property sold within the lower range of what most agents told me and I would have liked a little more but in my opinion this is mostly down to who sees the listing online during the campaign, whether it suits their needs and who turns up on the day as well as how much the banks are lending (as interest rates are high!). Somewhat luck of the draw basically. Overall I felt very comfortable working with Mitch and it seemed his passion was more about the joy of meeting people and selling houses as opposed to commission or statistics. If you want a genuine relationship with an agent I would highly recommend Mitch and YPA in general.

Where do we begin! From the moment we met Abdul, we knew he was the agent for us. He is honest, caring and extremely hard working. We were nervous about selling the family home and let’s be honest, he coped with my crazy stress levels (right to the end) like a true champ. I don’t think we have ever heard of an agent staying up until midnight only to send a heartwarming message of congratulations on the sale of our home, once the 3 day cooling off period had lapsed!
