I had two residential properties to sell. I had previously had one on the market in the previous year and although it had been presented beautifully, and the feedback had been good, I didn't receive one offer. Ant was recommended to me by someone who had worked with him previously and held his marketing skills in high regard. I gave Ant the details of my first property and within 24 hours he got back to me with an offer which had come through his extensive database of interstate buyers. The second property had been my home for eight years and it was an emotionally difficult decision to sell. Ant has been respectful and understanding and although my price expectation was quite high, he didn't promise the earth. He tried to manage my expectations gently, however ironically in the end, he and his team negotiated almost the exact price I was aiming for. I know the market is getting better locally, but Ant and his team are savvy, smart and super charged. I don't think Ant sleeps at all - he clearly gets a buzz out of his job, he's a natural salesman and he acts fast to get the advantage. Ant needs to clone himself and expand to the mainland! Both Ant Manton and Simon Purdon were very pleasant to deal with when purchasing a property in Rosny. They did not attempt any pushy sales tactics and in fact, their open and genuine approach assisted me in deciding to purchase the property and make an offer prior to auction. Ant went a step further continuing to negotiate between buyer and seller when he was in hospital to finalise the deal! Simon went out of his way to accommodate contractors needing access to prepare quotations and providing contacts for conveyances and the like. Both Simon and Ant could be reached whenever needed and returned calls and emails. The followup team, Barney, was very helpful assisting with Landlord insurance and other things. The daunting process of buying a property was made easier and this was appreciated. One more thing: I liked the Rapid Response Unit approach - was more fun than business as usual and they produced a good video!
