Having purchased the apartment through Alex back in 2009, she was the obvious choice when we came to sell in 2015. Alex' s knowledge of Roma Street apartment customers, pricing, markets, pros and cons of Parklands is second to none. I can't say it was an easy sale to lock away as we encountered quite a lot of skittish buyers over a near 4 month period (in part because our unit was on the Level 1 'above the pool' and that was off-putting to some.) But we got there in the end with a decent price. Alex is a pro.

Whilst I have no doubt Alex is up there with any agent in our area, I have real doubts as to whether the value an agent ads to the transaction is really commensurate with the clip they take out of it. We chose the agent who claimed to have the best knowledge of our particular complex, were reassured that our target price was realistic and achievable, were advised to turn down an offer after 4 weeks (well below target price), then only 4 weeks later strongly advised to accept an even lower offer. I'm not convinced that the market as a whole went through such a big swing in the same timeframe......
