He was always available for consultation, although I found that most questions were answered even before they were asked! I was impressed by Alex's knowledge of the real estate market, his long experience in the field and his cheerful and positive disposition. When the first contract crashed, he prudently had other potential buyers waiting in the wings, and a new contract was signed within 24 hours. In all aspects of the sale, Alex was as good as his word. I felt that he couldn't have made the entire process any simpler or smoother.

I can only say I that my experience with Alex and his PA Michaela was very professional and personal at the same time. This was the 5 th house I have purchased / sold over the years but this time I felt I mattered to them in contrast to some other companies I have dealt with. Although I must be honest, I did have difficulty contacting Alex at times when I had a query, really this was not a major criticism as Michaela would answer any of my questions.

I would describe myself as a cynic. It's part of the reason I'm good at my job. I don't trust people very easily. I believe trust has to be earned. When the receptionist answered 'It's a great day at Harcourts, How can I help you?' I was initially a little skeptical because it's easy to say, but another thing to live out. However, Alex and the team at Harcourts are all incredibly positive. They really seem to enjoy their work. We assessed Alex against three other mainstream agents and he was the most positive. We sold a unit with him which had a bit of a point of difference and Alex knew that to get the best price, a buyer would have to be found who appreciated that difference. Alex had the cheaper commission, the cheaper advertising package and believed a buyer could be found willing to pay that little bit more. During the sales process, Alex acted with integrity and with reassurance for my wife and I as we were first home sellers and did not really know what to expect. The whole sales process was handled well and everything I was lead to expect from Harcourts came to pass.
