I found Alexander Smout to be an excellent person to deal with. The first time we visited the property I liked his honesty and warm persona. I’ve been to a lot of open houses over recent years and some real estate agents have come across as really pushing the sale and not really caring at all about the buyers needs - I’ve often found this quite off putting. Alexander wasn’t like that at all. He came across as very knowledgeable, spoke in simple terms, he didn’t oversell, he let the property speak for itself, he was friendly and always professional. He ticks a lot of boxes. It wasn’t until our second visit to the property that we thought strongly about an offer and I don’t believe we would have gone to the second open house had our first experience with Alexander been different. The offer process was amazing as he was very responsive to questions and we later asked him to look at our property to sell in the future and he has given us some fantastic suggestions. I was just so impressed with him from a buyers perspective that I will sell through him too.
