I first met Amanda after I had already interviewed 3 real estate agents to list my home. I had already chosen to list with a different agent before I met with Amanda. From the moment I met Amanda, I felt a connection that was absent with the other agents. She was confident, professional and courteous. Amanda was empathetic with my situation and concerns. I had listed my home for sale a year prior with a different agent, and after being on the market for more than 4 months, did not have one offer. I chose Amanda for a few reasons, mainly being; Amanda was able to use her experience to suggest little things to add appeal to the inside and outside of my home. She even organised a handy man to help with some minor jobs. Amanda assured me she would have an offer, and maybe even a contract after the first open house. I was quite sceptical of this due to my previous experiences. After the first open home, Amanda called me that afternoon and had an offer and contract, I could not believe it. A week after contract was in place, I went away to the USA. Amanda was proactive in her contact and keeping me up to date with progress of the contract. She liaised with contractors to assist with some minor issues that came up in the building inspection report. Needless to say, the contract went unconditional on the due date which would not have happened without her. The communication from Amanda has been exceptional right from our first meeting, to signing up with her, listing the home, open house, contract right through to settlement.
