I bought this property together with my sister who is not in Sydney. On the same day the vendor accepted my offer, I had to signed the sale contract. I thought I only had to give deposit and signed for the deposit. The advice I was given is my sister's name and signature can be added during the settlement. In fact my solicitor told me that they need to redo the whole sale contract and I need to get the power of attorney for my sister. In the end, I had to paid extra to my solicitor for the cause. May be it is a simple mistake from the agent's understanding but it may need to be cautious with the next customer with the similar situation.
