Hi my name is Marilyn and I contacted Purple Bricks as a last resort, I had wasted a lot of my time contacting local 'conventional' agents. At the time I was attempting to finish restorations and would often have a knock on the door only to find a real estate agent with a 'prospective client' standing there unannounced with no appointment and wanting to 'come through'. Best and only excuse was..."I was in the area so just thought I would pop in to see if you would mind if I could show my clients through, they are very interested in your property, let me introduce you to ......" I would get phone calls up and until 9 at night. I was lied to, harassed and pressured into signing contracts. At one stage I had 6 real estate agents nagging and pressuring me. At one stage I had an agent showing people through by appointment and another turned up with 'clients' unannounced. I was bailed up in the supermarket by 'Mr Best Nagger' real estate agent who had seen my car in the car park! Then I discovered Purple Bricks and Anthony Cattermole. I thought...well how long has this been going on ! Anthony was just wonderful he realized I was stressed out and immediately put me at ease. There was absolutely no pressure. After our third visit together I threw all the real estate folders in the bin. Anthony is a caring and respectful real estate agent. He cared about what I wanted and needed with regards to the sale of my home of 35 years. He responded to every text and call. If he had an appointment he would text and get back to me as soon as he could. Anthony knew his job, he knew the market, he respected homes, property, and the Aussie family way. A family man at heart he was always happy, helpful and considerate. He also got me a great over the top price for my house. In 18 months time when I sell the house I am in now, he will be the first person that I call.

Very helpful did not hit the market Anthony asked if he could bring a buyers adversary through we said that would be ok within 24 hours we had our first low offer which was a kick in the teeth two days later we had another offer which wasn’t much better and within the week we settled on our price all without going to market I’m really happy with the price but I’m wandering if we went to market if we could have got more or maybe a family may have brought instead of an investor
