I recently bought and sold a property using Purple Bricks through Anthony Cattermole. I found Anthony to be very straight forward and also very knowledgeable about the property market in the local area. The thing I appreciated most in dealing with Anthony in the purchase of our home was that I never felt that he was trying to 'pull one over me'. I am used to real estate agents using passive aggressive sales techniques to try and pressure me into purchasing their property, and bombarding me with follow-up phone calls and text messages if I express even the slightest interest in the property. Anthony did neither of these things. He told us the truth from the outset (about the property's history on the market and previous offers etc). To be honest, had Anthony exercised any of the usual upselling/high pressure sales techniques, we would never have made an offer on the house, as we had already semi-committed to another property. As a direct result of Anthony's full and frank attitude towards us, we decided to reciprocate this in the way we approached the purchase of the house. That is, we made an offer that we thought was fair. The vendor accepted it, and I genuinely believe that everyone was happy with the result (as opposed to someone feeling like they had overpaid/undersold). This shaped the good faith approach taken by both parties throughput the whole transaction. Nothing was too much trouble for Anthony, who bent over backwards to enable us to view the property at times that suited us. He also went above and beyond to help the transaction flow smoothly. Anthony was very responsive and communicative, and was a pleasure to deal with.

Anthony made us feel confident in him right from the start, he was not pushy and offered valuable information for selling our house, communication was brilliant and he was always available. The whole process was simple and easy with Purple Bricks, both Anthony and James are a valuable asset to this company.
