I got a couple of calls as updates and then the final call to say our bid was the winner. That happened between 4pm - 9pm! Which I didn’t expect her and her team to work that late. We had a terrible experience with Michelle. The lack of concern when we had a failed building inspection that she refused to speak to the Vendor about price negotiations and basically being belittled when I was extremely concerned with the structural issues. We were brushed off and told "I could easily sell this if you cancel the sale and without subject to building inspection and for a higher price" I believe if that was the case she would have sold it to another purchaser. The cost to us is around 5k. She also told me at the first inspection all appliances were working yet at the final inspection one appliance didn't work she refused to get it fixed and the vendor wouldn't either as they mentioned it had never worked (another cost to us). The house was handed over in a disgusting manner (the inside was clean) the outside completely overgrown, personal belongings left at the property, trees falling down, the entire property covered in weeds, dog faeces all over the concrete, huge piles of soil in the front yard, cobwebs everywhere, fences falling down, huge vines falling down over the pergola, smashed pots/stainless steel left in the rubbish bin (the garbage truck will not accept that) another cost for us to take to tip, black bark all over the backyard/grass areas/walkways. Three of us spent 5hrs the day of settlement removing the mess/weeds/vines/overgrown dead plants/bark/cut back trees & filled a trailer, yet still have another 2-3 days of work. It put a huge damper on settlement day. We asked at the final inspection & the week prior that the garden to at least be cut back or attended too slightly prior to settlement and personal belongings to be removed. Michelle was on leave for settlement and we weren't notified of the settlement process which was at 11am. I contacted the team at 9.30am to ask then I was informed I had to go pick up the keys after settlement. The only positive is the girls who work for her, you don't even hear from Michelle.
