We were building our new home and undecided whether to rent or sell our current home. We decided to get a market appraisal done, then make a decision. We discussed our price point, again, with his honest appraisal, then he gave us a list of potential changes and a list of local providers who could help us then gave us time to make our decision. We incorporated all his suggestions (e.g. de clutter, add some plants, in our case, new carpets throughout etc.) We decided as a team to market it at our ideal price point and see how we went. Our home sold after 5 days with no home opens. Within one week of being listed online, it was under offer at our ideal price point.
