Hi We recently tried to sell our house with the real estate agent who rented it for many years. After an unsuccessful auction I called Bertram Daniel from "It’s a Breeze". I have been following Bertram for many years and have found his weekly updates quite informative and refreshing. One of his updates contained an article on buyers advocates. I asked him what this meant and he told me he would work with us on selling our house by selecting the best real estate agent and working with him to get the best price possible. He confirmed it would not cost us any extra as the commission would be split with the agent he suggested. Bertram selected Scott George from Parkes Property and told me he was one of the best agents in Melbourne. Everything after that went very smoothly. Scott gave us a realistic appraisal and set up a very professional campaign to auction. We were given weekly updates of how our campaign was progressing and felt very confident that our house would sell. Bertram and Scott also selected what they considered to be the best auctioneer for the day. Again we had confidence that the house was going to sell. On auction day we chose not to listen to the auction but when Bertram called us we were extremely happy. The house sold for more than the maximum estimate that Scott valued it at. I can thoroughly recommend Bertram and Scott. Having two agents for the price of one certainly makes sense.
