It was very impressive that Callum took a very long wait for us to come for inspection on that Saturday. We were caught out by other appointment in the city and actually arrived at Frankston around 3pm. We would therefore be notified to make another time for inspection, but thanks to Callum that stayed further and met us with great patience. And because of Callum's professionalism, the door was opened for us to finally find our dreaming property. Callum MacPherson and the team at Hockingstuart Frankston did a remarkable job of selling our home. As we were selling our first home, Callum walked us through the process and took the time to explain every detail to ensure we were comfortable every step of the way. He is a very calm and collected agent; not at all pushy like some can be. He has very extensive knowledge of the industry and how best to engage to buyer. We bought our first home from Callum. We were house hunting for only a very short and he was the agent for two of the houses we were looking at. He is honest and direct and we liked his no BS approach. He kept in touch throughout the entire process and helped us put forward our strongest offer without taking advantage of our inexperience in the process. We have compared our experience with those of our friends and family in similar situations and they can't believe how positive our experience was with our agent. With a sale being achieved very quickly you would have to say we are very pleased. The sale was to be used to fund the purchase of a nearby unit as our intention to downsize. The deposit for our sale was requested to be used as the lower deposit on the unit. But we now find out via the conveyancer (for both transactions) that your fees and expenses were deducted from the deposit in full meaning that we are $2,111 short with our deposit. It was our understanding that your fees and costs. would be met when the sale was concluded. The conveyancer was as surprised, as we were, at this. The conveyancer is not bothered and will make an adjustment from the excess funds at settlement. I realize our sale is, in your eyes, complete and your are entitled to your fees etc. But in our eyes the sale is not complete. This small matter has caused us some embarrassment and prevents us from giving you a perfect recommendation.
