With a sale being achieved very quickly you would have to say we are very pleased. The sale was to be used to fund the purchase of a nearby unit as our intention to downsize. The deposit for our sale was requested to be used as the lower deposit on the unit. But we now find out via the conveyancer (for both transactions) that your fees and expenses were deducted from the deposit in full meaning that we are $2,111 short with our deposit. It was our understanding that your fees and costs. would be met when the sale was concluded. The conveyancer was as surprised, as we were, at this. The conveyancer is not bothered and will make an adjustment from the excess funds at settlement. I realize our sale is, in your eyes, complete and your are entitled to your fees etc. But in our eyes the sale is not complete. This small matter has caused us some embarrassment and prevents us from giving you a perfect recommendation.
