I had been planning on selling my investment property for some time and mentioned it to my property manager. She organised Cara to do a property valuation. Cara provided me with a detailed property and suburb report along with a list of items that needed to be done in preparation for sale. I met with Cara at the property and we discussed how to present the house for open house along with a marketing plan. I was also concerned about selling while Covid-19 was affecting the economy however Cara assured me it wasn’t having any negative effect on her current sales in the area Once the house was ready Cara and her team wasted no time, the property was online and open house was scheduled. I was blown away by the interest in the property, we got 2 offers on the first open house and 1 on the next open house. I was very happy with Cara. At no point I felt pressured into accepting a offer, and at no point did I feel pressured into signing the contract to use her as a agent. I was worried about selling my house, it’s the first time I have sold a house so I was expecting it to be a stressful experience. Don’t get me wrong there were still moments of stress but Cara was always reassuring and only a phone call away.
