Catherine was great in the lead up to the Auction Day and without her client base we may have not got a sale on the same day our home was passed in at auction. I was a little disappointed with how the Auction Day unfolded, I believe this was our own fault for not attending a Ray White Auction previously to see how they are executedcarried out. I guess the biggest disappointment was the auctioneer having no prior knowledge of the great features of our home and asking us 5 minutes before the auction was to commence what it's greatest features were. As you would imagine our emotions at that point were very high and we were not able to communicate the benefits of our home at that late stage. Other auctions I have attended included an entourage from the agents office, making a very professional feel to the event with the agent selling the property also speaking to the attendees listing all the benefits of the home. This oversight is our shortfall again for not taking the time to attend a Ray White Auction prior to signing up an agent. We did feel pressured on the day to agree to sell and I believe the new owners were pressured slightly as well but ultimately the end result of selling and buying a home was achieved at a fair price for all involved.
Catherine was attentive and compassionate towards our needs in selling our family home of over 40 years. In our twilight years this is one of the most important considerations together with great results for the best possible financial result.
