We engaged Catherine with a property in a great location in a fairly hot market, expecting a reasonably quick sale at a good price. To be honest I did not believe any agent would add much value to the sale, however Catherine proved me wrong. We have reasonable awareness of the property market and had done our research and Catherine was very respectful of this. She always asked our opinion and was happy to discuss any aspect of the sale at short notice. She always added value by confirming (or denying) our thoughts with experience and data, and she almost always provided additional information. In preparing the property in short order, she gave several nuggets of advice that were extremely useful, including what to do with the front garden and how best to manage advertising photos. Once on the market, Catherine managed an avalanche of interest with apparent ease, including digital tours for interstate parties. From going online on a Thursday to exchanging the following Tuesday, we had a calm daily update whilst in the background she managed 30+ parties. Her advice was to wrap it up quickly given the imminent Christmas break, and given the interest in the property she was able to drive fast-paced negotiations and achieve a price 10.5% above that we had hoped to achieve, with the best possible conditions including; minimum settlement date and immediate exchange. Throughout all Catherine was available, friendly to deal with and professional. I highly recommend Catherine as an excellent real estate agent! I also highly recommend the Upside platform. Compared to another property sale I recently did with a different agency where information came only from the agent when I talked to the agent, I found the digital platform of Upside really awesome.
