We are absolutely delighted with Charlie's work selling our house in Oakleigh South. Charlie gave us excellent advice (including over the last several years, when we weighing whether to sell) about how best to prepare and present our house, he ran the campaign and auction professionally and effectively and we were thrilled with our sale price, which far exceeded our expectations. Smart strategy and great local knowledge - Charlie knew the area and the local market extremely well - as a consequence he could give us and potential buyers good quality information and he could devise a smart marketing, campaign and auction strategy 2. Ethical, authentic and honest - Charlie was always honest and upfront, and I think his authenticity really shines through with buyers too, and helps him build rapport. He was fair in the range he used for our house and in his commission, with no practices like '10% for earnings above the reserve' - Charlie was committed to doing his best work whether or not the auction exceeded the reserve. 3. Relationship builder - Charlie's approach, which stood out from other agents, was to attend every single open for inspection, and then to be the auctioneer. This enabled Charlie to get to know buyers well and to go into the auction with an excellent sense of who everyone was at the auction - and knowing who to look at when etc. This knowledge would have also helped had we had to negotiate. 4. Communication skills - Charlie has great people skills and communication skills. After every open and at other points in the campaign also Charlie called and gave us detailed feedback about how the campaign was progressing. I know he was also highly responsive with queries from buyers. 5.
