At auction Christopher was able to marshal a very professional crew on the day, and although the property did not sell on the day, Christopher professionally and competently executed plan B which did the trick. I spoke to three different agents before finding Chris Kavanagh. He was straight forward, gave me a complete run down of the market, some things that I could do to maximise the sale price and things to not worry about. I handed him the keys and walked out the door. I received weekly updates and statistics, he brought through other agents also to attract their buyers. I felt informed throughout the campaign and it was completely hassle free (for me). The best part was that Chris was also the Auctioneer on the day. Since we had been in communication throughout the process leading up to auction day, Chris knew where I stood and I knew where the market stood. I had complete confidence in him through the entire process, from the minute I met him to Auction Day which had a fabulous result and then through to settlement. The most impressive feature of working with Chris was his excellent communication and commitment to follow through on any undertakings he gave. A rare quality these days. It gave me confidence and helped me understand the reasonable likelihood of sale, price, type of bidder and reserve. Fortunately, or not, we never had to have Chris negotiate for us on the day of the Auction. However, he handled the auction proceedings efficiently and the result was very pleasing.
