We faced a new real estate enironment with our sale. A slowing market with buyers armed with media fueled FUD, it was a process of patience and frustrations at times. We remained positive with the knowledge that we were selling a great home in an ideal location. In this new landscape; we needed an agent who had seen tougher times, who had walked the hard yards and had come out with the results. Someone who had the local knowledge armed with data to back us up and the communication skills to reassure us during the sale process. David and Nicole with the rest of the Highland Team provided fantastic communication, worked the hard slog in dealing with BUYERS in a newfound BUYERS MARKET. I think the biggest key that an agent can provide for a seller is constant communication of information good/bad, reassurance, positivity, persistance. We were really happy with David and Nicole. Nicole was really good with organizing behind the scene things so everything went smoothly. She is extremely well organized, professional and friendly. It was really nice and easy to deal with her. She was always there when I needed to talk to her and she was never annoyed with me. At least I never felt it:). She answered almost hundred phone calls from me. And when I was stressed she was able to make me calm. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Nicole and I would recommend her to my friends. David was really nice since the first day. He was good in setting the price and managing our expectations. At the end we got a good deal, even though we did hope for more. He is a very good negotiator and he was able to negotiate well in our interest, which wasn’t always easy. He was also good in helping us to manage the stress. He knew how to talk to us when we were worried and stressed. He had a good sense for a potential buyer. And because of his way and personally we had a full confidence in him. I had more to do with Nicole than with David, but David was a gentleman with a couple of enquiries i did have with him. Cannot thank Nicole enough for keeping in contact with me through out the period of first inspctiion, to keeping me in the loop as to the progress of others interested in the property to exchanging contracts.
