With David's guidance and help we successfully sold our family property
Our property had been in the family since the mid-1970s and was not an average suburban property. Furthermore, we were in no hurry to sell and were ideally seeking a buyer that would retain it as a single entity. David indicated that the property was relatively unique and that valuing it was not straight forward because of its size (sub-division potential), location, topography and particularly because of how government regulations could impact design, construction and development.
David appreciated our circumstances and requirements very quickly and was patient with our needs. Although we were reluctant to accept offers involving subdivisions, David remained positive and encouraging, even during an initial downturn in the whole real estate market and then during the first few months of the COVID-19 crisis. His suggestions regarding how to improve the presentation of the property were excellent and did seem to encourage additional potential buyers.
We did not find the ideal buyer we sought but were happy with the result given the uncertainties of the Australian and global economies and are delighted with David’s persistence and support during the sale process.
