Del Marschke recently sold a property for a couple of our elderly relatives. They had lived at the property for over 50 years so there was a huge emotional attachment to the house and a genuine concern about the process of selling and what they would do next. Del quickly realised that the clients needed to be treated in a way that made them feel included in the direction of the sale and at the same time developed a warm and caring rapport with the couple. She treated them with respect ,dignity and patience. Nothing was too much trouble and she took time to explain everything that happened and always sought their opinions and addressed any concerns. Such was the bond that she created they quickly looked on her as a friend and trusted her judgement as decisions were needed. Not once did she take advantage of this trust but professionally negotiated the sale through the occasional hiccup. Such was the trust and respect for Dels work on the sale that when it came time to sign the contract they were entirely comfortable with the whole process and happily signed the documents and were looking forward to the next chapter in their lives. Despite the sale being concluded Del has still kept in touch with our aunties and taken them for the occasional coffee. They regards her as a friend who used her professional skills to get the best for them .In a world were this level of professionalism and caring can go hand in hand is rare indeed. She shines like a beacon in a difficult environment. Our aunties and us all thank you for being such a genuine and caring human being.
