Prior to entering real estate, Duncan ran his own electrical contracting business servicing both residential and commercial clients. Duncan’s vast experience as an electrician and business owner working with a range of clients meant that he entered real estate with a reputation for customer service, attention to detail and problem solving. Duncan has continued to build on that same warm and caring approach throughout his real estate career. Having worked on-site in the building industry for so many years, Duncan has the unique ability to offer valuable building-related insight and assistance to his clients.
When he isn’t getting deals done for his clients and running his business, McMillan Estate Agents, Duncan cherishes his time ‘off the tools’. Duncan, along with his wife and daughter, are mad Richmond Tigers supporters and they love watching their “Tiges” together, especially with the recent premiership successes. Duncan enjoys time spent around the home on his bushland acreage up the hill in Lorne and tinkering on his vintage Mercedes Benz. He also loves putting in work at the home gym and hanging out down at the local beaches daily with his young family and his dog George, a handsome Hungarian Vizsla. If you look up the term ‘surf rat’ in the urban dictionary, you’ll find that it appropriately describes Duncan, he loves surfing the cold water waves along Victoria’s west coast. A long-held passion since his early teenage years.
