We are both on the wrong side of 80 and reluctantly decided to move to a Retirement Village. We asked two Real Estate Agents for a Property Appraisal and Marketing Proposal. Both appraisals came in at exactly the same figure with similar Marketing Proposals and costs. Geoff and his wonderful team were handicapped by the fact the VCAT had approved the construction of a two-story Apartment block with a 19 car basement car-park immediately in front of our home, impacting our Bay views. Undeterred, Geoff and his team applied themselves to the task to find that one person not fazed by the development proposal. They successfully achieved that goal at a sale price that met our expectations. We used Geoff to sell our last property in Safety Beach and that sold in around a week for top $$$. The big difference between how Geoff sells compared to any other agent we have ever met, is that he actually sells the property and doesn't just stand around handing out the odd brochure between waiting to be spoken to. He learns the key features of your home and then identifies genuine interested people to talk to about it. He is exceptionally passionate about real estate and with a background in the building industry can add that additional information to those potential buyers who are in the game themselves. So having said that, it was always going to be a "no-brainer" when deciding who was going to sell this house, which has essentially been a solid 3.5yr inside and out rebuild and needed his expertise in expressing the level of detail across to potential buyers. Within hours of officially finishing the house Geoff had arranged the photography so we could have it on the market before Xmas and maximise the post COVID lockdown boom. Less than 2-weeks later we would sold and on the day the buyers stuck the sold sticker on the board Geoff took us all out for burgers and beers at our local brewery to celebrate. Tick!
